Hourly Research

This type of research is for one-off research tasks that do not require presentation of a full family history. It is particularly useful for brick wall enquiries.

The final report will contain references to all sources used.

This service is available at a cost of £20 per hour, with a 2 hour minimum

Training sessions

I can carry out training sessions at your premises on the following subjects :-

  • Online family history
  • Developing ICT skills necessary for online family history

This service is available at £30 per hour.

Illustrated talks

The two talks I offer which relate directly to family/local history research methods are :-

  • County Durham miners wives in the 19th century
  • Hannah’s story – a 19th century miners wife

These talks last about an hour, and are available at £40 per talk
